On Thursday, July 15 2010(7:00pm in room 335), the Guitar Program at MI welcomes Canadian guitar virtuoso Dave Martone for a special hands-on lead guitar clinic. Martone will share everything from his signature “hybrid hijinx” pick-and-fingers approaches to clever ways of incorporating harmonics within lead lines. He’ll also share adventurous tapping techniques spanning “gentle to insane!

Info from SHRED BOOT CAMP!
Hey everyone! Shred Boot Camp is finally here! This is something Tobias been carefully crafting for the last year or so, and it rocks! To the best of my knowledge, this is the world’s first comic book/CD package that teaches guitar! The stellar cast includes:

Many of the characters are based on actual rockers we all know and love from the Baltimore scene, such as rock god – Billyjack Mast ofMiseuphoria, Hunter of The Side Affects, Brent Jones of The Heaviness of the Load, and the awesome Metal Kid!

Man time flies! Sorry it has been so long since the last post. First off the new album is done. We are waiting on the last track to be re worked with our super Rock Star Guest!

Martone has a new DVD coming out shortly. It was shot at the Montreal Drum Festival in late Dec 2007. It is Live And In Your Face with no editing at all.

Happy New Year! New picutres are posted under Martone Live from the Montreal Drum Festival. There was a professional bootleg DVD shot at this concert that we are thinking of releasing in 08. The new album is almost done. One more guest artist has to finish their part, and it is done!! Should be out by summer or sooner!
